SIMPLE PLEASURES: fresh flowers, candles, bubble baths, fuzzy socks, pedicures, sitting on a front porch in the south sipping a sweet tea out of a mason jar, date night, paper straws, confetti, ice cream with sprinkles, tea rooms, roaming an antique mall for hours.
BEVERAGE: Coke Zero with Cherry, Sweet Tea, Root Beer, Cafe Mocha, Vanilla Iced Coffee, Harney & Sons Tea

OTHER RANDOM THINGS: Almost played college softball, can't imagine Saturday mornings without Gameday and college football, I may have a small fascination with the Royal family, I have over 60 pieces of milkglass (#antiquehoarder).
I'm Jess! I was born and raised in Texas (#texasforever) and married my Floridian husband, Timothy, in June 2012. I was blessed by God to have grown up in a Christian home and at the age of 10, I gave my heart and life to Jesus Christ. In 2009 the Lord called me into the ministry. At that point
in my life, I had no clue that God’s calling would later lead me to serve alongside my husband as a pastor's wife (#diariesofthepastorswife).
My husband is the Senior Pastor of Fellowship Church Immokalee and our second campus, Fellowship Church Ave Maria in Southwest Florida. He completed his undergraduate degree in Humanities in May of 2013 and his M.Div. in May of 2015 at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. He is currently working on his D.Min and plans to graduate in 2019.
I also graduated in May of 2015 from Southwestern with my B.S. in Biblical Studies. When I am not writing Small Group curriculum for our church or planning fun things for our Women's Ministry, you can find me sipping on tea while reading, being a helper to my husband (my favorite!), writing for the Florida Baptist Convention, and constantly rearranging our home.
I have had the incredible privilege of writing for some amazing publications including: BiblicalWoman.com, Florida Baptist Convention, Southern Baptist of Texas Convention, Whole Magazine, and Baptist Press. It has been the honor of a lifetime to be a contributing writer for The Devotional for Women (B&H, 2015), The Devotional for Women: Psalms and Proverbs (B&H, 2017), and The Devotional Bible for Women (B&H, 2019) with Dr. Dorothy Patterson and Dr. Rhonda Kelley.
